  報告人簡介:北海道大學助理教授,主要從事光電催化,太陽能電池,表面電化學等領域的研究工作。2011年獲日本大阪大學理學博士學位,2007年獲日本大阪大學碩士學位,2005年獲日本大阪大學學士學位。2008-2011年,日本學術振興會JSPS研究員。
  報告内容簡介:TiO2 is one of the most famous metal oxides which widely used for various applications such as photocatalysts, dye-sensitized solar cells (DSSC), antifog materials, electrochromic devices and so on. In general, amorphous TiO2 have a lot of defects which often act as recombination centers of photogenerated carries. Therefore, it is quite important to prepare highly crystalline TiO2 films. In addition, a high surface area of TiO2 is necessary for photocatalysts and DSSCs. Recently, TiO2nanotubular films (TNT) which have high surface area (pore size: about 20-200 nm) were formed by anodizing of titanium specimens in organic electrolytes containing fluorides. However, as-anodic films are highly contaminated with fluoride and carbon species derived from the electrolyte, leading to amorphous structures. Therefore, it is necessary for crystallization to post-annealing at more than 450ºC.On the other hand, more recently, we reported titanium could be also anodized in hot glycerol electrolytes containing phosphates and the obtained films showed unique properties. We revealed that the as-anodized films had mesoporous structures with pore diameters as small as ~10 nm, leading to quite high surface area. In addition, the films crystallized to anatase phase, even though it was not annealed after anodizing. In this study, I’ll report the detail properties of the anodic TiO2mesoporous films and photoelectrochemical applications such as photocatalysts and DSSCs.
